We offer a variety of services for schools, colleges and pre-school settings that will help you to gauge attitudes and perceptions, conduct consultations, evaluate initiatives, programmes or policies, and gain a deeper insight into the views of different stakeholder groups.

We can conduct research among pupils, parents, staff, governors, local residents or any group or combination of groups within or associated with your setting. We use a range of methods and are happy to advise on which would be the right strategy for your particular research needs.

Here are some examples of how we can help you:

  • Interviews or discussion groups with your pupils to help you form an in-depth understanding of specific aspects of the school experience

  • Discussion groups or interviews with parents or staff to explore issues or assist with consultations over proposed changes at your school

  • Design, administration, analysis and reporting of bespoke questionnaires or further analysis of your existing survey data

  • Research with local residents to help you to gauge community engagement with and perceptions of your school

  • Collection and analysis of in-depth data from pupils, such as diaries or blogs on issues such as the transfer to or from your school, transitions between year groups or key stages, emotional well-being or social relationships at the school

  • Consultations over proposed changes or developments at the school, or evaluations of recent initiatives

  • ‘School gate’ polls of parents and carers to gather opinions on specific aspects of the school or on overall satisfaction

We provide a bespoke research service and will listen to your needs and provide guidance and advice on the best options for your particular research problem. Please contact us if you would like further information and/or a quotation.
